I began practicing yoga in 2000, when I was living in NYC. I immediately fell in love with both the physical challenge and the philosophy of yoga. The styles I have practiced include Ashtanga, Jivamukti, and Vinyasa. I completed my 200 hour teacher training at Exhale in April of 2012. I am very grateful to Julie Boyd and Cheryl Oliver for sharing their wisdom and for their inspirational guidance. My goal as a teacher is to make each class fun and energetic by linking music, breath, and movement. Yoga is a tremendous source of joy and transformation, and I am excited to share it with others. For me, practicing yoga cultivates balance, strength, flexibility, and courage – both on and off the mat.
