We Flow

This class is taught by:

Colby Hanks

Colby is a 500-hour Yoga instructor with a background in dance and decade of experience as an ACE-certified group fitness instructor. Although she's originally from Texas, Colby spent her 20s in the UK where she worked as a brand ambassador for Manuka, founded Slice Studios in London and co-hosted a series of wellness retreats with Tanya Maher, author of The Uncook Book. Colby's teaching styles range from barre and zumba classes, to prenatal cardio, 80s aerobics and children's classes. Her yoga training is largely influenced by Rocket, Hatha, Yogic Arts and Ashtanga intensives with The Yoga People in London, Yoga Yoga in Austin, Duncan Wong of Japan, and David Kyle and Marie Belle of Puerto Rico. Colby now works in Dallas as an analyst, enjoys jogging having quickly retired from marathons, and finds it a thrill leading wellness seminars, classes and private retreats. Todd Boergermann

Todd migrated to Dallas in 2002 working in corporate America. He heard that yoga could heal people from the inside out and was sold after his first sweaty class. Todd completed his 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2011 and has been changing lives ever since. Todd challenges his students to honor their bodies, but to not be afraid to push past discomfort.

Ryann Hanes-Sloan

Ryann's teaching style draws from the collective teachings from both Eastern and Western yogic philosophies and she aims to challenge the physical body as well as the mind in her classes. She has spent time living in India, studying Yogic Philosophy and Sivananda Yoga under her teacher, Swami Govindananda, has a 200 hour certification from CorePower Yoga and is currently working on her 500 hour certification with an emphasis in Ashtanga Yoga through Global Yoga Shala. Her philosophy stems from her belief that we are all inherently well and joyful- we just have to clear away the things that block those experiences. Ryann works alongside her students to build a practice that encourages looking inward to find joy and strength, to simplify life and encourages students to harness their capacity and strength to accomplish everything they want in life.
Ryann's public classes are music centric, energetic, Vinyasa Flows that incorporate mindful movement synced with breath and isometric holds. www.ryannyoga.com

Shelley Beeson

I began my yoga journey after I had my second child. I fell in love with the practice immediately. It challenged me and brought me peace & patience when I needed it most. I practice a vigorous vinyasa flow that is Ashtanga based. I love my precious 2 boys, yoga and music. I completed my 200 hour Ashtanga & Vinyasa training with the amazing Julie Boyd & Sanskrit scholar Cheryl Oliver of Scottsdale, Arizona. I am registered as a certified teach with the National Yoga Alliance. My yoga practice has strengthened my mind, body and soul.

Practice in this open-level vinyasa flow with optional inversions set to upbeat, current music. This rockin class turns up the heat through an energetic vinyasa practice where you will develop flexibility, balance, strength, and endurance. You will be challenged by traditional and creative sequences with modifications offered throughout the class if you are newer to the practice or simply want to take it down a notch. Be ready to sweat as you link your breath to the flow. This Rockin flow is appropriate for all who are physically fit; Previous yoga experience recommended. (65 min; Intensity Level 1/2, Room is Heated)
