Nicole was first introduced to yoga in early 2000. At the time, she was a competitive tennis player and an avid runner. She was surprised at how amazing she felt after her first class. Not only was she much calmer, but she also left exhausted, as if she had literally worked every muscle in her body. From that moment forward, Nicole was hooked on yoga, and she began a very regular practice. Nicole completed a 200 hour vinyasa teacher training at At One Studios in Scottsdale, AZ.in 2005. She also recently finished an advance teacher training with Corepower in California. Her teaching is influenced by her mentor, Julie Boyd. Nicole lived in California for a year where she studied with many teachers including Krista and Brock Cahill, who helped take her teaching and practice to a new level. Nicole’s challenging vinyasa class combines music, strength, flexibility and the power of breath. Her class allows students to transform their practice into a meditative flow. She truly believes that anything is possible through yoga, and that if you allow it to happen, it will not only transform your body, but also your mind.
After attending her first power vinyasa flow class, Maggie was hooked on yoga's invigorating energy and felt compelled to share this with others through her teaching. Within less than a year from her first yoga class she received her 200 hour teacher certification under Susie Caicedo with Organic Soul. Maggie teaches challenging and empowering classes set to upbeat music with creative flows and fun transitions. These rigorous classes focus on postural alignment and proper breath control while building strength and flexibility. She encourages students to find their edge as they breathe, move and most importantly, have fun!
When not on her mat, you can find Maggie fitting in her cardio by chasing her two young children.
Her classes are a dynamic, energizing blend of focused breath and movements designed to strengthen and rejuvenate the body and calm the mind. When off the yoga mat Gina is an Artist, and she brings her creative side to her teaching, fusing a dynamic flow and intelligent sequencing with energetic and inspiring music.
A competitive long distance runner for several years with many age-bracket and overall victories under her belt, Gina came to yoga when pregnant with her first of three children in 2005. She found yoga brought her an inner peace she had only known before when holding a paintbrush in her hand and simultaneously cultivated an understanding of how athletes can utilize their yoga practice to balance strength, increase range of motion, and train the body and mind.
Gina completed her 200-hour teacher training under the Ashtanga-based Vinyasa teaching of the renowned Julie Boyd and Sanskrit scholar Cheryl Oliver, of Scottsdale, AZ., and continually studies both the physical and philosophical teachings of yoga under master teachers all over the country. Gina is a Brand Ambassador for Lululemon Athletica.
The regular practice of yoga opened Gina’s heart as she realized the benefits of yoga extended far beyond the physical, and she is privileged to share this gift with her students. Gina is a caring, patient teacher and wants to be a positive influence to her students to maintain their health and well being, reach their full potential, and increase their personal satisfaction.
