Rockin Yogis 2/3

This class is taught by:

Blair Isom

Blair began her yoga journey over ten years ago in Dallas. She then moved to Lubbock and was introduced to the practice of Iyengar, this is where she feels she truly learned the foundation of the poses. Five years after moving to Lubbock, a Baptiste studio opened and she was able practice other techniques. When she finally moved back to Dallas, she was reconnected with her passion for Vinyasa flow at We Yogis. Blair completed her yoga training under the guidance of Cheryl Oliver, Gina Dunn, and Nicolle Callahan in 2016. Her upbeat music will help empower you through her fun, challenging classes!

Maggie Niemiec

After attending her first power vinyasa flow class, Maggie was hooked on yoga's invigorating energy and felt compelled to share this with others through her teaching. Within less than a year from her first yoga class she received her 200 hour teacher certification under Susie Caicedo with Organic Soul. Maggie teaches challenging and empowering classes set to upbeat music with creative flows and fun transitions. These rigorous classes focus on postural alignment and proper breath control while building strength and flexibility. She encourages students to find their edge as they breathe, move and most importantly, have fun!
When not on her mat, you can find Maggie fitting in her cardio by chasing her two young children.

Kalene McGraner

Kalene's teaches an exhilarating vinyasa flow full of opportunities to strengthen the body, neutralize the mind and enliven the spirit. She came to yoga after walking past a studio while living in St. Louis where the students were exiting with a serenity and sweat unlike anything she had seen in a gym. After 1 class she was hooked. She was drawn to the non-judgmental environment, the community of yogis and that each time she stepped onto her mat she retreated to a mystical place free from worry and stress that only yoga could take her. Her physical and mental health improved, anxiety dissipated and her overall attitude toward life shifted. Yoga is truly her medicine; making her a better wife, mother and friend. After the practice unfolded what pranayama and vinyasa could do for her mind, body and spirit she felt called to retreat from the fast-paced corporate world and gain her certification so she could share the serenity and harmony the practice has brought to her. Kalene earned her 200-hour Vinyasa Flow certification in November 2014, and is always a student first.

Suzi Fuller

Physical activity has always been a big part of Suzi's life, and a place that feels like home. With a background in ballet and tumbling, yoga seemed like a natural fit. Suzi took her first yoga class in 2002, a fast paced Vinyasa flow. Over the next 5 years she practiced intermittently while working as a 1st Grade teacher in Highland Park ISD. Suzi practiced several different styles of yoga during this time, and beyond as she entered the world of motherhood, but found her passion in 2015 after taking Gina Dunn's dynamic Rockin 2/3 class. Gina's inspirational teaching and style of yoga resonated deeply with her. After practicing regularly at We Yogis, Suzi decided to combine two great loves: Yoga and Teaching. In 2016, Suzi earned her 200-hour teaching certification under the guidance of Gina Dunn, Nicolle Callahan, and Cheryl Oliver in the We Yogis Authentic Yoga Teacher Training program. She believes that yoga provides many physical benefits, and with a regular practice, the roots established reach much deeper, improving emotional/mental health and the spiritual connection that lies the heart of each practitioner. Suzi currently teaches Rockin Yogis 1/2 and 2/3. Her classes are fun, creative, Ashtanga-based Vinyasa Flows, that link movement to breath, and are set to energizing, current music that will carry students though class and leave them with lightness of heart and calmness of mind.

Diana Rodgers

Diana always knew she would want to teach yoga someday after opening We Yogis in 2012. In 2013-2014, she joined We Yogis first teacher training program with Julie Boyd and Cheryl Oliver as their guides. Diana completed her training in 2014, and has been teaching at We ever since. "As my teachers say, it's not yoga perfect, it's a practice." There is no judgement, no comparison, no achievement. Just enjoy the journey of mind, body, and spirit in each one of Diana's classes. Come experience this life changing practice that unites us all.

Nicole Preston

Nicole was first introduced to yoga in early 2000. At the time, she was a competitive tennis player and an avid runner. She was surprised at how amazing she felt after her first class. Not only was she much calmer, but she also left exhausted, as if she had literally worked every muscle in her body. From that moment forward, Nicole was hooked on yoga, and she began a very regular practice. Nicole completed a 200 hour vinyasa teacher training at At One Studios in Scottsdale, AZ.in 2005. She also recently finished an advance teacher training with Corepower in California. Her teaching is influenced by her mentor, Julie Boyd. Nicole lived in California for a year where she studied with many teachers including Krista and Brock Cahill, who helped take her teaching and practice to a new level. Nicole’s challenging vinyasa class combines music, strength, flexibility and the power of breath. Her class allows students to transform their practice into a meditative flow. She truly believes that anything is possible through yoga, and that if you allow it to happen, it will not only transform your body, but also your mind.

Britt Rainwater

When you walk into one of Britt’s classes you can expect creative and intelligent sequencing, progressive upbeat music, plenty of time going upside down, a solid dose of playfulness and an overall great vibe... Britt connects naturally with her students giving them the personal attention they need to deepen their practice. Her positive energy, sense of humor and uplifting personality is contagious. Each class is handcrafted with love & paired with a compelling centering theme to leave students feeling inspired and more alive at the very core of their being.
Britt is an E-200 Hr. RYT certified in classical Hatha Yoga, her classes are a challenging mix of Power Vinyasa Yoga, integrating dynamic sequencing, core work, breathing, inversions and arm balances into an overall alignment-based flow suitable to students of all levels.

Julie Cooper

Julie’s yoga journey began with a running injury. Looking to find the same endorphin release while healing her ankle she found bikram yoga and was instantly hooked to the structured postures, the heat, and the zen-like state after class. She realized that through doing yoga she was finally able to calm her mind and that benefit extended to her home life. Later on during pregnancy, looking for a lighter routine, she found Vinyasa yoga and enjoyed the fluidity of linking breath to movement. Post-pregnancy she was looking for a better combination of the heat of bikram, but the constant movement of a true Vinyasa Flow. Taking her first Rockin’ class with Gina Dunn, she finally found a good balance of both as Gina helped her realize how amazing yoga is for the mind, body, and spirit. It was at We Yogis that she fell in love with the practice and realized how much more yoga is than just a workout. Inspired by her teachers and wanting to “pay it forward” she signed up for Asana Dealers Teacher Training in 2015. Under the amazing guidance of Gina Dunn, Nicolle Callahan, and Cheryl Oliver she realized her calling to be a teacher. In her classes she aims to get you sweating, refine your movements, and help you realize the benefits of yoga on and off the mat. Meet her there!
Faster-paced vinyasa flow yoga with optional inversions to upbeat, hip music. This rockin’ class torches calories through an energetic vinyasa practice where you will develop strength, flexibility, and endurance. You will be challenged by traditional and creative sequences of postures rooted to an enlivening breath. Be ready to sweat! Variations and options will be given to modify or intensify your practice. Previous yoga experience recommended. (Room is heated to 86-88 degrees; 65 min; Intensity Level 2/3.)
